About Bill: Bill Burnett is an Adjunct Professor and the Executive Director of the Life Design Lab at Stanford. He received his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Product Design at Stanford and has worked in start-ups and Fortune 100 companies, including seven years at Apple designing award-winning laptops and a number of years in the toy industry designing Star Wars action toys. He holds a number of mechanical and design patents and design awards, and, in addition to his duties at Stanford, he advises several of his students’ startup companies.

About Kelsey: Kelsey is a certified executive coach with the International Coaching Federation as well as a Performance Coach with Stand & Deliver, a global leadership and communications consultancy. She has coached teams from industry-leading organizations such as Google, Cisco Systems, Genentech, Caterpillar, and UCSF Radiology. Her approach helps leaders find the curiosity and clarity necessary to bridge the gap between a powerful idea and its impact. Kelsey is also a facilitator and coaching consultant for the T. Denny Sanford Institute for Empathy and Compassion at UC San Diego where she applies her diverse background to improve communication between physicians and patients, inform medical training, and bolster empathy among healthcare teams. Outside of the business world, Kelsey spent over 15 years as a professional theatre actor, most notably as a Core Company Actor at American Players Theatre where she appeared in over 30 productions. Kelsey holds a BFA from the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University and trained in the Certified Professional Coach program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She lives in LA with her partner, her golden retriever, Grizzly, and she can crochet just about anything.
